Delve into the details of our latest collaborative venture featuring Rhythm on Glass and Studio 103 Designs.
This project revolves around the development of sliding privacy screens specifically designed for the residential project House V. These innovative screens serve a dual purpose: safeguarding interior spaces from intrusive views while effectively regulating sunlight to prevent overheating in the master bedroom and ensuite bathrooms.
Constructed with meticulous attention to detail, the privacy screens boast a composition of hand-painted glass tiles, meticulously fired in a kiln for optimal durability and visual appeal. Secured in position by aluminium channels and back wedges, these screens incorporate a colour palette inspired by the warm and inviting tones of a sunset. The sunset colours adds character to the house and a touch of elegance to the interiors.
The end result is a beautiful work of art that make a striking statement.
I worked together with Claire Manicom to design a bas-relief sculptural mural for the meditation room in House V project. The mural features a CNC-machined AUM symbol with lotus flowers made out of plaster. The design is elegantly simple and executed beautifully.
