Description
‘Johannesburg Taxi hand Signs 1’ combine linocut prints, screenprinting and a map of Johannesburg major streets. The signs of Taxi hand signs, SASL and Bharata Natyam mudras are embossed to represent different aspects of my identity. Each taxi sign is overlaid with the map of the destination at an urban scale of 1:20 000.
